Not at all. We're 100% virtual and serve clients across 10+ provinces and territories. Everything is handled through our secure client portal, video calls, email, and phone. Our cloud-first approach means you get the same quality service whether you're in Toronto or rural Saskatchewan.

You'll be assigned a dedicated bookkeeper who becomes your primary point of contact. They'll learn your business inside-out. Depending on your plan, you may also work with a tax specialist or CFO advisor. You always know who is handling your account — no ticket systems, no anonymity.

💰 Pricing & Plans

Never. We believe in complete price transparency. Your monthly plan price is exactly what you pay — no setup fees, no surprise invoices, no per-transaction charges beyond your plan's limits. If you need additional services, we quote them upfront before doing any work.

Yes. All monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days notice — no cancellation fees, no questions asked. Annual plans offer a 20% discount and require 30 days notice as well. We're confident you'll stay because of the results we deliver, not because of a contract.

Yes — we offer a free, no-obligation consultation before any work begins. During this call we'll review your situation, explain exactly what's involved, and give you a clear cost estimate upfront. You only move forward if you're comfortable with the scope and price.

Upgrading is easy and seamless. Just let your dedicated bookkeeper know and we'll transition you to the next plan with no interruption to your service. You'll only pay the prorated difference for the current month. We celebrate when our clients grow!

📊 Bookkeeping

We primarily work with QuickBooks Online and Xero — we're certified ProAdvisors in both. If you're currently using another platform (Wave, FreshBooks, Sage, etc.), we can discuss migration options. We'll set up your account, connect your bank feeds, and configure everything properly from day one.

Absolutely — catch-up and cleanup bookkeeping is one of our most-requested services. We've cleaned up years of disorganized, messy books for hundreds of clients. There's no judgment. We'll give you a clear timeline and fixed price quote for the cleanup, then set up a proper system going forward.

You'll receive your P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement by the 15th of the following month. For example, your January reports will be ready by February 15th. We guarantee on-time delivery — if we're ever late, your next month is free.

👥 Payroll

The Growth plan includes payroll for up to 10 employees — covering direct deposit processing, CRA payroll remittances (CPP, EI, income tax), provincial tax compliance, T4 and T4A preparation, Record of Employment (ROE) filing, and benefits/deductions tracking. The Elite plan covers unlimited employees. Additional employees can be added to the Starter plan as an add-on at $25/employee/month.

Yes. We handle the full spectrum — direct deposit payroll for T4 employees and year-end T4A preparation for independent contractors. We also advise on proper worker classification to help you avoid costly CRA misclassification penalties.

🏛️ Taxes

Yes. We file federal and provincial business returns across all provinces and territories. Many of our clients operate in multiple provinces and need nexus analysis and multi-provincial filings — we handle all of it. Provincial income tax returns are included in the Growth and Elite plans. Additional provincial returns beyond the first two may have a small add-on fee.

Elite plan clients receive full CRA audit representation — we handle all communication with the CRA on your behalf, gather documentation, and defend your return. Growth and Starter clients receive guidance and document preparation support, with the option to upgrade to full representation. Having clean, organized books dramatically reduces your audit risk in the first place.

Yes. We calculate and remind you of all quarterly tax installments (March, June, September, December). We'll ensure you're paying the right amount each quarter to avoid CRA instalment interest, while not overpaying and tying up your cash flow unnecessarily.

🔒 Security & Privacy

We use bank-grade 256-bit AES encryption for all data at rest and in transit. Our client portal requires two-factor authentication. All team members are background-checked, sign confidentiality agreements, and complete annual security training. We're SOC 2 compliant and use only enterprise-grade, SOC 2 certified software tools.

Never. Your financial data is completely confidential and will never be sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party without your explicit written consent — except where legally required (such as responding to a valid court order). Our privacy policy provides full details of our data handling practices.

To get started, we typically need: read-only access to your bank and credit card accounts, login to your existing accounting software (if any), your most recent tax return, and any other relevant financial documents.
